Caring for a Premium Blade

Knock in thoroughly before hard-ball use — several hours with a mallet across multiple sessions, working the edges and toe carefully. A toe guard and edge tape are worthwhile insurance at this price point. Oil lightly two to three times a season with raw linseed on the face, edges and back only — never the splice or stickers — and store the bat flat and dry, out of hot car boots.
