The Grip GM Fits to the Galaxy. Now on Its Own.
Ask anyone who has picked up a 2026 Galaxy what they noticed first and plenty will mention the handle before the blade. The Galaxy grip is the one GM specifies on its own Galaxy range — a metallic textured finish that looks like nothing else on a rack and holds like a grip that costs more.
Now you can put it on whatever bat you already own. Soft rubber, a distinctive raised texture for positive hold, and a finish that catches the light every time you shoulder arms.
Bulletproof Benefits
- Metallic textured finish: The standout look from GM's 2026 Galaxy range — genuinely different from the flat white rubber on every other bat in the change room.
- Raised grip texture: Gives your hands something positive to hold so you can keep a relaxed grip and let your wrists work through the shot.
- Soft rubber compound: Tacky in the hand and cushioned against impact, taking the sting out of a ball that finds the splice.
- Lightweight construction: Won't change the pick-up of a bat you already chose for its balance.
- Two colourways: Classic White, or Pink — a genuinely rare grip colour, and the obvious pick for Pink Stumps Day and breast cancer round fixtures.
- Fits any standard handle: Not just GM bats — works on any senior cricket bat handle.
Pink is the one to watch: we have exactly two. Pink grips sell out every year in the lead-up to Pink Stumps Day and they are not easy to restock. If you want one, now is the time.

How to Fit a New Grip
Cut the old grip off lengthways with scissors — don't try to roll a perished grip off, it will tear. Roll the new grip onto a grip cone, slide the cone over the top of the handle, then roll the grip down under even tension so it doesn't twist. Check the bottom edge sits flush. A grip cone makes this a thirty-second job and we stock them for a few dollars.
When Should You Replace a Grip?
When the surface has gone smooth and shiny, when the rubber feels hard instead of tacky, or when you catch yourself gripping tighter than you used to. Most club players batting every week should change grips twice a season — it's the cheapest way to keep a bat feeling new.
Who It's For
Players who want their bat to look different from everyone else's, anyone running a pink-themed fixture, and GM Galaxy owners replacing a worn original.
