350 Grams. Full Protection. No Trade-Off.
Most batting gloves make you pick a side. Go light and you feel every seam through the finger rolls. Go heavy and your hands are locked in cardboard — no wrist, no whip, no feel for where the bat face is pointing. Either way, something in your batting suffers.
The Noir 808 refuses the choice. An exceptionally soft leather palm keeps you connected to the handle, while a Pro PU multi-section back flexes in segments so the glove bends where your hand bends. HD foam and fibre finger rolls take the sting out of a rearing delivery, and offset finger splits sit the protection over your knuckles instead of beside them. All at roughly 350 g a pair.
Bulletproof Benefits
- Exceptionally soft leather palm: Real grip and real feedback through the handle — you can feel the bat face, which is the whole point of a good glove.
- Pro PU multi-section back: Segmented panels flex with the hand through the shot instead of fighting it, so you keep your wrists free in the drive and the pull.
- HD foam & fibre finger rolls: Layered impact protection that kills the sting of a ball that jumps, without the bulk that turns your fingers into sausages.
- Offset finger splits: Positioned to cover the knuckles rather than leave them sitting in the gap — the exact spot that ends seasons when a glove gets it wrong.
- Bottom-hand index side bar: Extra padding on the single most-hit finger in cricket, which is where most glove injuries actually happen.
- Flexible two-piece thumb: Moves naturally so you keep control on the bottom hand and full protection on a ball that spits at the glove.
- Soft-fill comfort lining & double-sided sweatband: Stays comfortable and manages moisture deep into a long innings, so your grip doesn't go greasy at 40 not out.
- Approx. 350 g per pair: Genuinely light in the hand — you'll notice it most in the last hour of a long stay at the crease.
The 26/27 Noir range has only just landed and the 808 is the pick of it. We have a small run of right-hand pairs at Cranbourne — once they're gone we're waiting on the next GM shipment. Don't leave it until the first round.

How to Choose Your Hand
Batting gloves are ordered by the hand you bat with, not the hand you write with. A right-hand batter takes right-hand gloves; a left-hand batter takes left-hand gloves. The pair isn't symmetrical — the extra side-bar padding sits on the bottom-hand index finger, so ordering the wrong hand puts the reinforcement on the wrong side and leaves your most exposed finger unprotected.
Who It's For
Club and grade batters who face genuine pace and want protection they can trust, top-order players who bat long and need light gloves that stay comfortable, and anyone stepping up from an entry-level pair that's stopped absorbing impact.
